Do you ever feel that no matter what you do, you’re not doing enough?
Do you feel tension between giving your all in your profession and showing up as the partner or parent you want to be at home?
Have you ever struggled to define what “work-life-balance” means for you?
To become a physician, I spent my 20s and 30s in pursuit of my professional goals. By 34, I had my dream job, my dream house, a wonderful husband, and 2 beautiful daughters, but every night I went to bed feeling like a shadow of myself – barely keeping my head above water, and feeling like a failure and a fraud both at work and at home.
I struggled to define what success looked like in any of the roles I’d been filling. I ended up outsourcing the definition of success, and proof of my worth and validation to everyone else around me.
As a result, I felt lost, overwhelmed, depleted, and exhausted. To make myself feel better, I overate, over-drank, and over-spent, spent too much time on Instagram… which resulted in a body, mind, and bank account that I wasn’t proud of.
Through coaching, I learned the tools to see myself through my own eyes, instead of through everyone else’s. I learned to define myself, and what success looked like in each of my roles.
I want to share what I’ve learned, so that you too can create the life you’ve always intended to live – one of whole-hearted experiences, nourishing connection, and personal fulfillment in each of your roles and identities
